Team Fortress Movie Poster by GojiBob Team Fortress Movie Poster by GojiBob
This is just a simple project I did for my digital design class. I think making this was the longest I've ever worked in Photoshop.

If you're wondering why I didn't include the "2" at the end of the title, despite showing the main cast of Team Fortess 2, is because.... well, it would make sense going by an actual standpoint. If there were to be a Team Fortress film adaptation I don't think it would be on Team Fortress Classic, as that one is nearly forgotten by time. There would obviously be an adaptation of the more widely known second game in which they would have to remove the "2" in order to avoid confusion about there being a previous film. Plus, both games seem to have very little continuity with each other anyways, so it's not like much would be lost if Team Fortress Classic was ignored.

Another thing, the voice actors listed are the ones who voice the main cast in the game. Finding actual mainstream celebrities to voice the characters is just predictable and overly-cliche.

Also, PLEASE don't ask me why DreamWorks Animation is listed as one of the production companies. Other than the fact that Team Fortress 2 has an identical visual style to DreamWorks' CGI films, I really don't know why I added them. Especially considering that DreamWorks only makes family oriented films. As we all know, Team Fortress 2 doesn't fit that description. Okay you may say, "The Official TF2 Wiki says that Team Fortress 2 follows a popular trend in recent CGI films, in particular, films recently made by Pixar Animation Studios, such as The Incredibles." Yeah, but adding the Pixar logo wouldn't make a difference as both companies' styles look nearly the same and they both pretty much have the same guidelines when it comes to films. But anyways, it really doesn't matter considering I'm not taking this poster seriously and I don't think anyone else should either.

If you really want to see a Team Fortress Movie Poster that has a serious tone, go here: therabidartist.deviantart.com/…, and give the person some credit. That one is much better than mine, especially the companies the person chose for it. But I don't think I'm going to change the listed company logos on mine to Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. because that would be too copycat-ish and that would make me look a little competitive. But if a majority thinks I should, maybe I will. I don't mind constructive criticism.

have no continuity with each other? but the classes in Team Fortress Classic are related to those in Team Fortress 2 (i think they're their fathers, i am going ot have to read that part again) but nonetheless it is the same universe as the two different Team Fortress games, both are about RED and BLU fighting for Redmond and Blutarch Mann to see which one of the brothers shall take over Gravel Pit

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot about that. There is some, but very little, continuity with both games.
Only the TFC Engineer is shown to be the father of the TF2 Engineer. None of the other TFC classes are ever brought up or shown in the continuity of TF2. Plus, I guess one can assume that the TF2 Engineer's father technically isn't the TFC Engineer and that Valve used the design of the TFC Engineer for the TF2 Engineer's father just for a nostalgic throwback or something. Plus, Redmond and Blutarch from what I recall were never brought up in TFC considering TFC never really had a story. The current story is something that was only incorporated after the release of TF2.
Then again Valve tends to not make things for certain and thus, they intentionally leave a lot of things for debate among their fans. So yeah, I need to rephrase the whole "both games seem to be there separate universes and don't seem to have any continuity with each other" part considering it's not really confirmed and it's something that can be endlessly debated. Thanks for pointing that out.

Oh, I guess. Well, I only meant to put the voices of the 9 character classes. But those two's names would also be good additions to the poster.

It'd be a tad crowded, though. (This also makes a decent spray.)

Oh, gosh, if they made a TF2 movie...

All of my yes. As long as Valve and the fandom have a big say in how the movie's made, then by all means, they oughta' do it.

You know Valve would actually love to make a TF2 movie? They were considering it. It's kind of a long-shot, but hey. :)

I hope to god it happens, but I have my prerequisites it has to be made in SFM, and more importantly, Valve has to have some level of control all times to keep it from devolving into crap.

As long as Paul W.S. Anderson or Uwe Boll aren't involved, I think it'll be in pretty good hands.

Uwe Boll is much worse than Anderson if you've seen Boll's film adaptations on video games such as BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead, and Far Cry. In fact, his movies that aren't even derived from a source material are just as bad such as In the Name of the King. The only film of his that was considered closest to good was Rampage (oddly enough, despite sharing the same title as the Rampage video game series it's not an adaptation of it). Unlike Anderson, there is NO enjoyable charm to his films whatsoever.

Haven't seen a single one, if you ask me though, at the very least the RE film crew at least deserves props for their creation of the creatures, i.e. the Adjules and Axemen from RE 5.
